    1. I never used christian beliefs to support my arguments. I might have mentioned that i was a christian as a sort of 'by the way..' 2. then please start doing so.

Anais, it is not for me or you to decide - it is up to members of that religion to determine whether they want gay bishop or not. “The more things change, the more they stay the same...” (Machiavelli)

Yeah, go grow up and have some therapy (anger management) while you at it! Anais, no one called them second class but since you brought it up - their relation ship IS lesser than normal marriage because they can not conceive children. “The more things change, the more they stay the same...” (Machiavelli)
Women bear children.... 2 women can bear twice the children.... with a little help from a friend.... I know a female/female couple who had kids. They got sperm from a donor & had a child & then the mother got sperm from the same guy & carried a child for him and now they are one big happy extended family She is one of the most amazing people I have ever known. She taught me all I know about feminism. She was the heart and soul of the Athens Rape Crisis Line which she built into the Athens Rape Crisis Center. If I ever build a statue to anyone... it will be of her. Hilary Rustin.... A super cool sister! What about hetero couples that are infertile should they not be allowed to be "married"? If you are shooting blanks.... how will you feel if people tell you you & your wife aren't married? I obviously agree w/ Anais, why cant gay people celebrate a mass? In what way a male priest is better? God on earth? please...this is ridiculous. Please review your concept of marriage, what is it?

I mean, not a regular gay dude, but a bishop, the so-to-say representative of God on Earth and sort of a role model for other people. This is plain ridiculous. Anyway, I agree with the opinion that gays should be allowed to have their "families" but don't call that marriage, please. Call it brotherly love or homo-union or something stupid like that. Don't touch family and marriage though!

Word up sistergirl! That's what really pisses me off about the catholic hypocrits... the ceiling for women. Women can be nuns & then that's it.... Lame! But then it does reflect the bs conception of women in the bible... which in my opinion is a political book of the time & is not about real spirtuality that speaks to agape love. One of the coolest original Star Trek episodes is where they end up on a planet that had been destroyed & rebuilt. The one book that was left was a book about ganster in the 40's so the planet built itself based on this gangster book.... Let's just do a referendum. Let democracy and people decide Anais, Why a different name would make somebody second class citizen ? Think of it like that - marriage is copyrighted by hetero couples I'm sure every car maker wants o call his car a Mercedes, but he can't. But at the same time, makers of Saturns don't think they are a second class citizens tanja, You should apply for a job as anti-gay spokesman You're much better at it than Bush or Pat Robertson "...Нашу песню не задушишь, не убьешь..."

That was pretty good KGB... had to think for a minute there... Marriage goes much deeper than car brand names & copyrights. People & Love. And for alot of people it would make them seem like second class citizens... What's a better brand name Mercedes or Chevy? Anyone is a better spokesperson than Bush! Just the other day I watched the tape of Bush showing his dumb ass as the reporter questioned him on the leaders of Taiwan, Chechnya, Pakistan & India.... A classic. I could watch it over & over.... I mean he wasn't asked who is the assitant deputy secretary of sanitation or anything... And he was such a macho proud dork about it too. He asked the reporter back... "Can you?" Just like an angry sixth grader. Self-righteous, ignoramus.... KGB and Taliban, Marriage is not a brand, it is a concept and it purports the idea of being faithful to one another. It is a great concept that should be stimulated because promiscuity is a bad alternative to society's survival, be it gay or straight.

Tanya, I'm not going to talk to you, until you take at least 2 valiums Anais, That was pretty good KGB... had to think for a minute there... I'm trying Marriage goes much deeper than car brand names & copyrights. People & Love. It is, but still - hetero couples come up with it So, it is ours. And for alot of people it would make them seem like second class citizens... Well, for a lot of people they are a second class citizens. Who cares what stupid people think ? What's a better brand name Mercedes or Chevy? Toyota Anyone is a better spokesperson than Bush! I don't get your anger. A president don't have to know all world leaders names. He has advisers for that. Anyhow, Clinton was a much better speaker, which didn't help him to make lots and lots of mistakes in a foreign policy.... Bush didn't do any big ones yet "...Нашу песню не задушишь, не убьешь..."

Religion impairs discernment. And that is a point that very few people realize in this thread. Dont be a Bush, an Ashcroft, an Osama and justify your actions with the bible (or the quoran). And yes DullDelusional, the fact that you (and some of your pals) so blindly follow your religion impairs any exercise of logic, because at the end, you will come up w/ your "that's the way it should be" thing or a variant - and we go nowhere, and it aint reasoning. Think more, and do not exercise judgement under the influence. * i can give u + common sensical reasons for why your religion is so mediocre besides the ones i've already mentioned previously.
