but this is exactly opposite to what Russian internet brides (or whatever they call themselves) think of american men!
russian women believe that american men are faithful, serious, loving, caring... and that's pretty much the main reason they leave russia and come here. to start the phucking family. damn... for them, ignorance is a real bliss:-)

I think that's why it's so failed to doom. Divorced American men are the worst. Those that are 'family men' already have a child or children, which means huge child support payments, and the last thing we want is to restart a family with some woman who will just sit at home. No way.
The worst thing a hot Russian woman could do is come here thinking she will start a family with a divorced American man. If I were ever to do that, I'd make sure and get a great lawyer so Ivana never makes a penny off me.
That said, I did see this old guy today with a beautiful younger woman that looked a bit Russian - just seemed so out of whack. so wrong. Of course she would leave him - he looked like her father. In the meantime, he's having a blast. I hope he had a prenuptual agreement.
Sad really. It's only because women see less with their eyes that it can even happen in the first place.
