So I'm getting a new tattoo. My last name on my upper back. I have strong Russian heritage, unfortunately they've all passed away and I'm now in the Army. I would like to get it in Russian, my dad was not Russian though. The last name is "Hicks". I don't know the lettering or anything and don't trust the online "translators". Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

making such tattoo won;t be traditional in russian sense....

If you need really someting russian - do "Не забуду мать родную!" on your arm. It's more traditional, means "I will never forget my mother".
