Just called them, true, disco skating (you know, music and lights) is only on Fridays 8:00-10:00 PM, so if we want to disco-skate, we have to go on Friday. Tolik were you talking about ice- or roller-skating? I think people are more interested in ice-skating from what I read, so maybe we can do roller-skating next time? Alex - You talking ICE skating: Cold - have to change and wear uncomfortable close Hard - ice is the worst to fall on - it's sharp. Can't hear the music - because of the scating noise and bad accustics Ice is bad - it was all in wholes last time We've done it already - (twice!) - why not try something else for a change? - people seem to sit around on the bords and chat - only a few really do scate (have to organize "Parovozik" to get everyone on ice). Rollerskating has better environment, more comfortable close, better accustics and lights, beteer music (you can actually her it). Also, it seems to get beter participation since they usually organize games and other social activities instead of just putting on the music and forgetting about people.

Tolik you have a point of course but there is just more interest to ice-skating here, as you can see. Ice-skating is pretty fun, too, I kinda even like ice and a little cold :) Reminds me of my past :)

Rollerscating has better music, better prices and twice longer skate time. I'll go to either one or both. But, I am concerned about everyone's fun - so it's better to go rollerscating. When did you last ROLLERSKATE?

Well I don't think we should be concerned with everyone's fun, we are all adults and we'll have as much fun as we want to ;) Ice-skating is great, roller-skating is great, it just looks like ice-skating is preferred, I don't see a big deal here. So let's decide on the date (June 6th?) and just go and have fun :)

Since Ice seems to be preferred at the moment... let's do that this time... satisfy that feeling & do roller next time As for the qualities of both... there are gives & takes to either, and all are open to interpretation.... Ice for instance offers more maneuverability and a faster, smoother glide... There is noise with both vis a vis the music... clothes aren't that important... Ice reminds me of skating on the frozen canals of Amsterdam.... Roller reminds me of skating around my neighborhood & at Trocadero in Paris... It's all good! June 6th on the ice is my vote. Anyone like to close their eyes & Iceskate...? Now there's a rush ...
