Is this not a place to discuss opinions? I was not aware i needed a goal :) I guess if I have to think about it, my goal is for little white children and little black children to play together in the sandboxes of this nation :)

Some examples that come to mind are gulf war 1, vietnam, korea, WW2 (for countries that were not communist, and obviously the countries that were not destroyed), and probably the best example is WWI, which caused unprecedented world prosperity everywhere but germany and Eastern Europe.
I don't know.......
Look, I have sent you a link proving my point. I can send more. You can send reputable sources claiming otherwise. Besides that there is nothing we can do :)

It is being artificially pumped Haliburton, Lockheed Martin, and many other US corporations, who contribute to the GDP, and employ literally millions of people. So in the environment where the financial cycle I described in my first post is just not "cycling" as it should, its like the government giving it a spin.
And the proper way to spend them would be ?
I did not say anything was improper. I could (because it is), but I didn't. This conversation is all over the place anyway, without me writing 2 pages on the war. Maybe I will do that and start a new topic. Bet you can't wait :)
But here, I was merely explaining why war is good for the economy.
My argument is that the economy would be worse without the war in Iraq.
This does not mean I agree with the war, or disagree with the war for the purposes of this conversation.

No. I am saying Iraq was expected. Don't forget the arguments for the war. multiple resolutions violated. Support of terrorism. Kicking out inspectors. And our belief in WMDs which goes back to Clinton. THIS WAS NOT AN UNEXPECTED WAR for Bush.
Without 911 there would be no Iraq war. It would have been just another Clinton stile thingy....
I am not sure about that, but I think you may be right. After all, Bush did run his first campaign on the policy against nationbulding. BUT after 9/11 I do not believe that there were many doubts, given the reasoning for the war I stated earlier. iraq did nothing new (violated another resolution) between 9/11 and when we attacked them. And right after the Taliban left Kabul, Iraq dominated the news for a year before they were attacked! So it was not unexpected. Afghanistan was unexpected.

I have never made this statement. And I never will because I don't believe that :)
But you said you want to tax those who does "bad" things in your view !
Look, I think I have already explained this as best I can in other posts. Total tax revenue does not have to go up. You can even lower taxes on those who dont outsource and do nothing with taxes of those who do. Or do both to balance them out.
It's all about socialist bush-hating, big-government-loving semantics, as Tarzan would say...

It may just take longer with Republicans in control. those are your words. If it takes longer with republicans, than it must take less with democrats ? Or what ?
Yes what I said above I stand by. I feel like democrats are courting this issue and republicans are not. But like I said before when an issue becomes mainstream (like war on terror), both parties have to court it or they will lose every election. The middle class does not need saving. It just needs to be fairly treated as I described in my first post. If it votes en masse, it will be. I am not advocating any radical actions to save our middle class.

I would not be as pragmatic, but this is not a bad paraphrase of what I am saying.
