Sr. Software Developer / ASP.NET
We are seeking a senior .NET developer / Team Lead to join our technology group.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and review high level architecture of solution components.
Provide technical leadership on projects from concept to completion
Coordinate with other project leads to verify work-plan estimates for deliverables and associated tasks
Extensive hands-on coding in Microsoft .NET (C#, ASP.Net, Classic ASP, AJAX) for the web
Collaborate with business managers to define high level and detailed requirements
Lead development teams (in-house and outsourced), through all phases of project life-cycle.
Monitor and report status of the project to senior management
Required Skills:
6 yrs of applicable solution architecture and/or development experience.
3 years experience managing complex and challenging projects as Project/Technical Lead
3 yrs of experience in Microsoft .Net (C#, ASP.Net)
3 yrs SQL development experience
2 yrs Web-services programming (SOAP a plus)
2 yrs of related web development (ASP, JavaScript)
2 yr JavaScript experience DHTML, CSS, XML
Strong OOA/OOD skills
Experience creating and reviewing UML diagrams
Experience in programming technologies including ASP, IIS, JavaScript, VBScript, DHTML, XML, strong HTML, CSS, and XSL
Experience using Microsoft Development tools (Visual Studio, Visual SourceSafe, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree or Master degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience
Desired Skills:
SQL 2005 (Reporting services, Integration Services, Administration)
Build and Release automation tools (NAnt, CruiseControl)
Network Skills (firewalls, load balancers, security, redundancy)
ASP.NET 3.0, AJAX
Non-Tech Skills:
Excellent oral & written communication skills with an understanding of high level concepts & the underlying details
Strong analytical abilities and troubleshooting skills
